Pre Construction Services
Viking Construction gets up to speed quickly with the owner’s objectives and the architect’s vision, and performs a thorough constructability review so that our clients know their projects will meet realistic expectations. We collaborate throughout the process so this becomes a common goal. We work with the design team to analyze the project, streamlining where prudent and providing value engineering so that a client’s budget is maintained.
Our experienced personnel are available to lend their expertise in site work, concrete, masonry, rough and finish carpentry, drywall, steel work, plumbing and mechanical systems. We have a keen eye for product selection and will offer suggestions for alternate materials, time-saving techniques and can advise on the availability of specialty contractors. We use our database of over 4000 subcontractors to pre-qualify those who are most suitable for the project, ensuring the most competitive value for our clients.
As major decisions are made and the pre-construction process nears completion, our state-of-the art estimating systems will illustrate the benefit of this approach.
General Construction

Design Build
We control costs at the inception of the project by bringing the architect, contractor and project owner together as a team. This proven concept streamlines the entire design development and construction process. We offer these services in conjunction with the owner’s architect, or through one of the many independent design firms with which we are presently associated.
Construction Management
Viking Construction takes the lead in every project, managing, supervising and coordinating all construction activities while keeping the owner’s best interest at the fore-front of the decision-making process. We will assist and interpret all design documents for the benefit of the owner and coordinate all owner-related activities. We will be responsible for the development and implementation of a stringent set of project safety requirements. We will manage and report on weekly meetings, maintain a daily log of project activities and process all requests for information. We will supervise the work of all sub-contractors and process payroll. We will coordinate all of the necessary permitting and inspection processes and maintain an on-site library of all documents, drawings and schedules.
