Viking Construction 2020 Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Sophia Rotar-Crowe of Fairfield, CT – she has been awarded the 2020 Viking Construction Education Scholarship. Rotar-Crowe, who plans to study architecture and construction management at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, will receive $1,000 per year each year she remains in the program (up to $4,000 total).

We annually invite any graduating high school senior or college student who has declared a major relating to the construction industry to apply for the Viking Construction Education Scholarship. The scholarship provides funds annually for up to four years of study, assuming the student maintains a 2.7 grade point average.

Viking created this scholarship in 2012 to support the general community and, as much as possible, those pursuing construction-related careers. To date, the company has committed $36,000 to students. Applications for the 2021 award will be available on the website in the spring.
