Viking’s work as general contractor on the Connecticut Humane Society’s new Pet Resource Center has received two awards from key construction organizations:

• CREW Connecticut Blue Ribbon Award – Viking stood out for its “extraordinary leadership and success” in commercial projects. The Pet Center project was showcased at CREW’s network and celebration event on April 23, 2026.
• Connecticut Building Congress (CBC) Project Team Award – Viking’s work on the Pet Center was recognized for being an “outstanding design and construction project that exemplifies project team excellence and represents the best practices in teamwork by project owners, architects, engineers, constructors, tradespeople, suppliers and service providers.” This award was presented to Viking at an industry celebration in June 2026.

The Pet Center was one of the most challenging and rewarding projects Viking has completed in recent years. We appreciate the recognition – and knowing that our work will affect pets and pet owners for generations!
